Pinkest Pony Collective

The Pinkest Pony Collective

Making a better, brighter, and weirder world through art, passion, community, and mutual aid.

Who we are:

We are a collective of art weirdos based in Portland, OR. We make large art pieces with a special emphasis on UV-reactive art that glows under black lights. We are passionate about community projects and supporting those around us with involvement in and support of mutual aid programs.

What we do:

Community Events

If you have a community-based and/or mutual aid event that would benefit from having some unique and colorful art to attract attention we would love to talk with you about the getting involved!

We are passionate about community involvement and want to hear from you about what you are running and how our art can make it better!

Commissions

We are open for producing commissions for interested clients of any of our art, as well as designing bespoke pieces for specialized needs.

Because of the complex nature of the art we produce each commission is a customized and unique experience that we discuss individually with clients. Please reach out to pinkestponycollective@gmail.com if you would like to discuss commissioning us!

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of community projects are you trying to support?

If you are putting something good out into the world for your local community FOR FREE, we want to help!

We are particularly passionate about mutual aid and community projects that focus on redistributing resources to those that need them. We believe strongly in the power of resilient community to protect those that society at large has failed or left behind.

If you are trying to help the people in your local community and need some support we would love to hear from you.

How affordable is getting your art to my event? My community event doesn’t have much of a budget.

Part of how we are trying to help our community is by offering low- or no-cost art support to people who are offering free services to their communities. Typically the only cost involved will be if the art is damaged while in your custody, which will vary depending on the severity of the damage (please take good care of our babies). We will make sure all those details are understood and agreed upon in advance!

What if I'm running a for-profit event, but I still want to use your stuff?

Listen, art materials cost money and we're not above earling a little cash to subsidize our work! We're more than happy to rent our art to for-profit events. We do not have formal rates at the moment, but we're working on it. In the meantime, please reach out to us directly and we'll talk turkey!

I don't need anything, but I dig what you're doing and want to donate! Is there a way I can do that?

Yes! You can donate directly to our project fund via venmo, @the_garden_of_owd (it's not sketchy, we promise! This is our SOAK camp which is the same project fund)

I really like your stuff and want to get your help with something I’m doing! How do I reach you?

You can reach out to the collective at pinkestponycollective@gmail.com and ask any questions you would like!

Why is your group called “The Pinkest Pony Collective”? Are you referencing something?

We have owned this domain name since the early 2010s because we thought it was funny back then and still think it’s pretty great now. Any apparent relation to pop singers or songs past or present is purely coincidental, but admittedly a pretty cool coincidence in our humble opinions.
